Gatekeeper From Webforms.online
I’m happy to announce gatekeeper (a math / text captcha service) from webforms.online. https://webforms.online is a project of mine which aims to provide easy to use tools and services for web developers and web site owners for building and protecting their web forms.
A key objective is also to build tools which are fully accessible, promote usability, accessibility in new and innovative ways.
In this attempt, the first product is gatekeeper, a math / text CAPTCHA service which can be easily intigrated on to any existing form. At this moment, gatekeeper is in beta and I request interested people should sign up and explore the system.
Traditional CAPTCHAs
Traditional CAPTCHAs are pictures with some hard to read code which the user must identify and enter in the box given. This method of protecting the web forms from spam and bots makes the life of visually impaired or blind users very difficult. In many cases sighted users also find the provided images hard to read. Math or text based CAPTCHAs are much more simple, accessible and more than enough in most cases.
